Gaming and Amusements

Welcome to the Gaming & Amusements Page of 9th Street Pub!

There is more to do here than eat. 9th Street Pub has been the Illinois Valley’s spot for a game and a beer since 1977, and most nights there is something running: free pool, a free jukebox, darts, pinball, licensed video gaming and whatever is on the TVs.

What you can play

Pool, darts and game day

Free pool on Mondays

Classic pool tables, and Monday nights they are free. Bring somebody who thinks they can beat you.

Licensed video gaming

Video slots, video poker and amusements through Accel Entertainment. Must be 21 to play.

Darts, pinball and the jukebox

Darts and pinball any night, and the jukebox is free every Wednesday.

Must be 21 to play

Video gaming terminals

Licensed video slots, video poker and amusements, run through Accel Entertainment, in the same room as the pool tables and the bar.

Play to win cash, then stay for the kitchen. It runs to 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 pm Friday through Sunday.

Most weekends

Live music and open mic

Local bands and solo acoustic acts play here most weeks, and open mic night brings out half the valley. The stage is small, the room is loud, and nobody charges you at the door.

Game day

When there is a game on, the TVs are on it

We have put out a free feed on Super Bowl Sunday for years, and the kitchen runs right through the game. Football, basketball, whatever is on, there is a seat with a view of a screen.

Make a night of it

Food, drinks and a table waiting

Kitchen open from 8:00 am. Bar until 2:00 am. Seven days a week on 9th Street in La Salle.
